“ Great Food, great history, and great staff. I don't see how anyone could not enjoy this place. It's the oldest restaurant/bar in Pittsburg. Our table had a variety of food that was all DELICIOUS! Starting with oyster shooters. So fresh. We ordered a dozen. Crab cakes were the size of hockey pucks. I ordered two individual ones since I'm not a fry girl and it was almost way too much food. They only thing I would have liked better is some capers with them. Hubby ordered the Cod father. If ever there again, I would definitely order this and eat without the bun with a squeeze of lemon. Daughter ordered fish and chips. OMG, the best I had. She could not eat all of it and even though I was full, I could not help myself. So flakey and delicious. Staff was fantastic and the owner came over to talk with us. ”
“ Me and the family absolutely love this place, crab cakes were awesome and the fish was so fresh!! Definitely a great choice ”
“ Jumbo Fish Yes!!! Delicious! If you are ever in town, you must stop by this Pittsburgh staple. This place has been around for over 100 years! Owner Mrs. G (Renee) was our phenomenal waitress/server. She was attentive, down to earth and had great conversation. Mrs G. gave us a history lesson and delivered one of the best fresh, light, and tasty fried cod sandwiches that we’ve had in a while. Note: Enter through the bar, they will guide you into the indoor seating and patio if you prefer to sit outside. 2 beers, 2 fountain drinks, 2 fish and fries and chicken tenders all about 40. ”
“ Oysters are great and they're already shucked and cupped!!! ”
